Looking to set an amazing goal for 2024?

Join Team YWCA for the Banff Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K!

 

Run a Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K at the beautiful Banff Marathon on June 16th, 2024 and raise funds for the Official Charity, YWCA Banff.  Not only will you achieve an amazing personal goal, but you will also support the extraordinary efforts of the YWCA Banff and help individuals and families in crisis. Funds raised will go towards supporting essential programs and services such as sexual violence prevention programs, affordable housing, and emergency shelter for individuals experiencing violence or homelessness in the community.

 

There are also some fun incentives for fundraisers including complimentary race entry, VIP packages, race merchandise, trips and more!

How Do I Raise Funds?

 

The best way to raise funds is to create and share a pledge page on the race registration system.  Once you have registered for the race, it can be easily set up and customized so you can share your goal with friends, family and other potential donors.

​

Steps to creating and/or sharing your page:

 

1.  On the Race Roster registration system, Visit/Sign in to your participant dashboard

2.  Select the 2024 Banff Marathon (if you have registered for multiple events)

3.  You will now see your registration information for the 2024 Banff Marathon.  On the right side of the page, you will see the header “Fundraising” where you can select the "Edit page" option.

4.  Once on your personal fundraising page, you can edit fundraising page details including your display name, fundraising goal, personal story regarding why you are fundraising, photo of yourself, and other relative settings.

5.  You can now start sharing your fundraising page with friends, families, co-workers or whoever you wish.  Encourage them to support you for taking on this amazing goal!  The page can easily be shared via social media or e-mail by clicking on the icons at the bottom of the page.

6.  Start fundraising for this great cause!
